Gigapixel Photography
Using a digital camera and a telephoto lens, hundreds of images are stitched together to create a gigapixel panorama image. Each of the smaller squares above shows the detail that can be seen when zooming into a high resolution gigapixel image. Extremely large and high resolution prints can be made from gigapixel images.
